Featured site: Scalextric 4 schools

Hornby wanted to start an education programme where students could design, build and race their very own scalextric cars against other schools.

However, the system would have required a full-time member of staff to administer the programme which was deemed unaffordable.

blinkworks developed a web application that managed the whole programme with as little human intervention as possible. Hornby can create multiple competitions, each with as many races as required. Teams are then able to book a race via their login and even publish their fastest lap time. The backend section provides all the information needed to organise each event and contact team leaders.
